Business users in the finance department need minimal involvement from IT, and are reticent to learn a drastically new system.

Corporate performance management (CPM) has long revolved around planning, budgeting, and forecasting core functionality, but companies are now focusing on other ways of differentiating themselves.

Nucleus found that most CPM products have similar functionality when it comes to core components. Where companies differ is their wider integration with other business branches and their usability for a variety of user types.
